Caring for your skin after Sensitive Skin Repair
What to expect, what helps, and what is worth telling us about.
This facial is deliberately gentle, and the aim afterwards is to do as little to the skin as possible.
- Leave make-up off for the rest of the day.
- Cleanse that evening with lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free cleanser, then moisturise.
- Wear a gentle, high-factor sunscreen daily — mineral formulas often suit reactive skin better.
- Do not introduce any new product for a few days, so you can tell what your skin is responding to.
- Pause acids, retinoids, scrubs and cleansing brushes.
- Skip saunas, steam rooms, hot showers and anything that flushes the face for the rest of the day.
Tell us if redness, stinging or swelling increases rather than settling — that is worth us seeing.
General guidance for this treatment, not a personal care plan. The instructions your practitioner gives you at your appointment come first — follow those. If anything worries you afterwards, contact the clinic.
