What is a HydraGlow Facial?

What is a HydraGlow Facial?

A clarifying facial with LED light therapy — what it does, who it suits, and what to expect before you book.

The HydraGlow Facial at Minori is a professional-grade facial that uses HydraFacial's cleansing and extraction technology alongside LED light therapy to address dullness, dehydration, and congested pores in a single session.

The treatment takes 60 minutes. Your skin is assessed first, then worked on through four steps: a gentle cleanse and prep, the HydraFacial vortex technology to cleanse and extract, LED light to calm inflammation and support more even skin tone, and a finishing application of skincare selected for your skin type.

Some brightness is visible immediately afterward. How lasting that is depends on your skin and your home routine afterward.

What it cannot do

It is a professional facial, not a clinical procedure. It will not address significant skin loosening, changes that go beyond what a surface facial can reach, or conditions that require a clinical-grade treatment. If your skin concern needs something beyond what a facial can reach, your provider will tell you at consultation.

Who it may suit

The HydraGlow is a good entry point if you are new to professional facials, or if your skin has become dull, dry, or congested. It is also used as a monthly maintenance treatment by clients who have already established a skin routine with a provider.

It is fully customizable — your provider adjusts the active ingredients and LED settings based on your skin type and any sensitivities.

What to know before you book

There is little to no downtime. Your skin may look flushed for a short while after and that fades quickly. Let your provider know before the session if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have active infections, cold sores, sunburn or broken skin in the treatment area, use prescription retinoids or have recently taken isotretinoin, or have had recent injectables, peels, or laser. These do not necessarily rule you out but mean the approach is adjusted.

A consultation determines whether this or another treatment on our menu is right for you. Book one at Minori Skincare in NoMad, Manhattan.
