What Is 하이드라페이셜? HydraFacial in Korean

6 November 2026

하이드라페이셜 is the Korean name for the HydraFacial treatment at our NoMad studio. What the visit involves and who it suits.

The Korean pages of this site list two versions of it — HydraFacial 시그니처 하이드라페이셜 and HydraFacial 플래티넘 하이드라페이셜 — and both are the same device-based facial you can book in Manhattan.

What a visit involves

The core treatment at our NoMad studio is the 70-minute HydraFacial® Signature. It uses patented Vortex-Fusion® spiral tips to deep-cleanse, exfoliate with a gentle glycolic-salicylic peel, extract congested pores without pain, and infuse the skin with hyaluronic acid, peptides and antioxidants. The Platinum version runs 90 minutes and adds lymphatic drainage, a corrective booster infusion and an LED protocol. Both are booked the same way, and a consultation or a booking can be handled in Korean, Mandarin or English.

Who it may suit

The treatment is written for clogged pores, blackheads, T-zone oiliness, dehydration and dullness, and it suits all skin types. The Korean pages list a HydraGlow facial beside it, and the question people ask about the signature version applies to the platinum one too — which runs longer and adds the drainage and LED steps. Skin usually looks plump and bright straight away, and there is no downtime.

What it cannot do

It is a professional facial rather than a clinical procedure, and it does not reach the deeper structural concerns that energy-based and needling treatments are used for. It is not a substitute for a dermatologist's assessment of a concern that is persistent or worsening. A few things change the plan rather than the outcome: active infection, open wounds, severe sunburn, recent procedures that still need to heal, and pregnancy.

Aftercare

Keep the rest of the day simple — gentle cleansing, moisturiser and daily sunscreen. Leave strong exfoliating acids and retinoids for a few days, and skip saunas, steam rooms and intense exercise for the first 24 hours.

A consultation decides whether this is the right treatment for your skin, and the plan is confirmed against your skin, your history and your medications before anything goes ahead. Book one at our NoMad studio in Manhattan.
